Some figures should be put to this policy with a concrete promise by the council to increase habitat for certain key species and environments by a specific amount. All building should align with nature standards full stop, not where possible, as this is too weak and gives developers too much room to circumnavigate meeting their moral responsibilities in favour of increased profits.

This policy needs to be stronger and in more depth. The policy is too weak and does not go far enough into addressing the loss of biodiversity and natural habitats in the vale.
