I support any attempt to revitalise and improve Barry town centre/Holton road. I support improvements to infrastructure and projects aimed at making the area a nicer place to spend time/shop. I think the council should do more to actively encourage new retailers, both major brands and small local businesses. Can deals on lower business rates be offered to attract new retailers? Can the old Wilkinson shop be used a location for small pop up stalls for local crafts and businesses or as a space for a weekly market and other events?
