A pedestrian and cycling route will be a big improvement and allow both safer travel and recreational walking/cycling. As a user of these route in my area my main request is that they are more regularly cleaned by road sweeper and little pickers. When walking it's disappointing to see how much rubbish accumulates along routes and often after heavy rain and storms the amount of dropped branches and leaves can make cycling hazardous.
