The proposed development is unrealistic.
To gain access to site you cross over private land.
Street used for parked cars and play street by children.
Infrastructure of Wick inadequate.
Road conditions and construction not built to sustain heavy weight road vehicles.
The development is not commercially viable.
Very high health and safety risk.
Wick is too far away from places of employment.
This proposed development will not be in the best interest of the Wick community. To gain access to the site, either they will need to cross private land on Wick Garden Estate, or go via Heol Fein, which is a very narrow lane, which will need to be widened for heavy commercial vehicles to gain access. Our street has access to the field site, and is currently used as a playground for children that live on our street. This is a serious safety issue, due to vehicles travelling over 20mph on the estate. The roads will need to be improved, width wise at Heol Fain, before they start any kind of development to facilitate access to the field. Having looked at the current sewage, water, electricity, wi fi infrastructure of our village, this is a totally an unrealistic proposal. I am asking that as a resident to ensure this plan is investigated.
At this point in time the road conditions on the estate would not be able to cope / sustain, with the weight of heavy vehicles, because of the present construction of the physical roads, would be insufficient to be used long term for heavy road traffic
