Housing in this area would negatively impact on the already overburdened highway and roundabout at weycock cross. The proposals are based on outdated traffic counts and any additional traffic generated by this development would add to the already regular gridlock when any incident happens on the highway. It would also increase the unacceptable queueing on Port road towards weycock cross.
