The key themes are great but the LDP fail to actually offer solutions or address the real issues that people face daily e.g. housing costs, the rising price of fuel and quiet communities being blighted by more and more development. There is lots of fine talk in this plan but no evidence that it will improve the daily life of people living in the Vale. The feeling is that communities are being trampled over by self interested authorities and people feel helpless. My opinion is based on contributions at public meetings regarding this plan.
