Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I wish to express my concern regarding the proposed housing developments at this site. My very first visit here was about 6 years ago and my reason for the visit was to look for a species of spider namely, Wasp Spider. Knowing this area well it looked excellent for this species. These Spiders were discovered in the Thaw Valley not very far from this site the year before. Wasp Spiders in this area represent the first record for Wales. As hoped the area held good numbers of Wasp Spiders despite the dog walkers and public use. Over the course of 6 years and many visits I have also, along with many common Species of birds and insects discovered Essex Skipper Butterflies and Roesel`s Bush Crickets, both quite rare in this area. It would be a shame to see another area of unique biodiversity lost to housing!
