The scale of housing development proposed for St Athan is inappropriate changing the nature of it from village to dormitory settlement. It would need extensive additional infrastructure - shops, pharmacies, schools, doctors, dentist, public transport, leisure facilities- to support the proposed housing, and this has not been adequately provided for.
