The traffic routes for this development are not sufficient. There are also bats in the barns at the north of the field which will be affected by the lights of a supermarket in the north west corner. Furthermore HGVs travelling up and down Gileston road creates more unsafe conditions than what already exists and brings unwarranted noise to what is a small village. There are very few jobs in St Athan, Lidl or Aldi (which run on extremely high productivity rates) will reduce jobs. More people will have to travel towards Barry in an already very congested route.
