If there are places available for a growing young population in local Welsh speaking primary and secondary schools ths should not be an issue if social and private housing is built in the appropriate place and integrated with retail outlets.
I oppose the Clive road proposal, as I believe social housing needs to be supported by infrastructure, shops, pharmacy etc in particular and there is zero provision at this end of St Athan. I believe there is little justification sacrificing this valuable community space unless more is done to develop at least local shops at the Eglwys Brewis, Flemingston Road area of St Athan where there are several planned developments.
