I can't speak for the type of people moving into these houses. On the st James estate I speak Welsh with neighbours in the non-affordaboe housing but have never met anyone in the affordable housing that speaks Welsh.
It's adding more properties to a village that does not have the necessary infrastructure to have it in place. There is one small shop and one small primary school and has had rapid expansion over the last 10 years. A big new estate only recently finished, another affordable housing estate just finished and now plans for another. It will be far too congested and ruin the village.
Planning to build far too much affordable housing. Village is not equipped for any.
