I strongly object to this proposal. Combined with other local applications, the cumulative impact on highway safety is unacceptable; the road is already hazardous for families walking to school. This development will destroy the rural landscape and a vital wildlife corridor used by foxes and hedgehogs. Replacing these permeable fields with housing increases surface water flood risk and permanently erodes the area's character. I urge the council to protect this greenfield site from unsustainable over-development that threatens both safety and local biodiversity.
