The impact on the village for the sake of a small number of affordable houses seems unreasonable. Especially the use of greenfield. There are brownfield sites slightly further afield near Llandow, rather than further destroying green areas.

The village has already seen significant disruption with the creation of Heol Cae Pwll, which has impacted on traffic within the village, especially in relation to the school. As well as the increase in traffic, water services and water displacement, and internet are also struggling to cope. Not to mention the impact on house prices which currently have views over greenfield.
