Located in the rural Vale, 7 miles from Cowbridge and 8 miles from Bridgend, its scale is out of character with the area. Residents would likely rely on private cars for transport, as public transport is unavailable, especially to local shops in Pencoed. Access to larger supermarkets requires driving to Cowbridge or Bridgend.
