The sites are in rural Vale, far from towns like Cowbridge and Bridgend, and the scale conflicts with the local character. Residents would depend on private cars, as public transport is limited or unavailable, and access is via narrow country roads unsuitable for high traffic or emergency vehicles. The nearby primary school is full, further limiting local amenities.
