This piece of land is in the flood plain for the river Ely which has flooded regularly every year in recent history.
Building in this area would undoubtedly mean the river has no option than to flood further back across the main road through the village as well as Wyndham Park way.
Land being considered for development in Peterston Super Ely is far too big an area in proportion to the size of the village itself with limited lane access and would ruin the character of the rural Vale.
Please stop building houses on green fields especially in flood area.
