The scale of the site is inappropriate for the small rural village of Llangan, which is a protected conservation area. There is no bus service or facilities in the village so all journeys will by necessity be made by car. Llangan village is on a hill as the whole area is extremely prone to flooding and very damp ground. The site is on lower ground where several streams join and often flood both the lane and the fields. All the lanes leading to the village flood.
