I would remind the Vale Council planners that, in the VALE OF GLAMORGAN REPLACEMENT DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2021- 2036 CANDIDATE SITES ASSESSMENT AT DEPOSIT PLAN STAGE, it was stated that this site NORTH OF CHURCH Rd (ref 440) was NOT allocated "as the site would represent unacceptable intrusion into the local countryside. The proposal would have an adverse and negative impact on the setting of an ancient schedule monument" This site is located on the outskirts of Cowbridge and not conveniently situated for walking (no public footpaths), cycling or public transport accessibility.
