Vale Council planners are reminded that in November 2025 they stated this site was not allocated "as the site would represent unacceptable intrusion into the local countryside’ (the Vale of Glamorgan Replacement Local Development plan 2021-2036 candidate sites assessment at deposit plan stage) November 2025). The site is located on the outskirts of Cowbridge and not conveniently situated for walking, cycling or public transport accessibility. Since that decision, further pressures on the extremely limited public transport and nearby roads more generally make this site unsuitable for development.
