I don't not agree with any plans or developments for housing in our village. We are a small rural village that doesn't need additional housing. This would cause far more issues with high volume of traffic, already adding to what problems we have with speeding, childrens safety and traffic using the village as a short cut to their journeys.

There is no public transport and the site is not reasonably accessible to day-to-day services, such as medical facilities, shops and community facilities.
The proposed expansion of the site goes against the VOG’s objective to reduce the need for travel for VOG residents to meet their daily needs.
The site is in a Special Landscape Area and therefore the proposed development would be contrary to the VOG’s object to protect and enhance the VOG’s historic, built and natural environment.

I note that the site is located in rural Vale, seven miles from Cowbridge and eight miles from Bridgend. The site's scale is out of character with the nearby area, and residents would depend on private cars for commuting to work, shops, and primary school in Llangan. The nearest shop is in Pencoed with no public transport, requiring driving to Cowbridge or Bridgend. Access is via narrow, single-lane country roads unsuitable for high traffic volumes or emergency services.
