Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The scale of the site is out of character with the local area and very close to the houses Cherryacre & Westwind. It would surround these properties and block any rear views across open countryside. increased traffic is a concern where there is already speeding. there are no facilities, no public transport or safe walking routes.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

The site are located in the rural Vale, surrounded by open countryside and 7 miles from Cowbridge and 8 miles from Bridgend. The scale of the site is completely out of character with the local area. Realistically, anyone living in this location will rely on private cars to get to and from the site for work, shops etc. The nearest small shop is in Pencoed to which there is no public transport. Otherwise it is necessary to drive to Cowbridge or Bridgend or one of the large supermarkets on the edge of Bridgend.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

We object to parts of this site being excluded from the settlement boundary as it appears incongruous when viewed in the context of the rest of the Fferm Goch settlement. It is deemed suitable for inclusion as it lies immediately to developed areas, local amenities and the adopted highway and therefore would round off the settlement in a logical manner. It would not propose back land development and is considered to be in line with the RLDP strategy and methodology of BP46 that ensure that settlements are drawn to logical defensible boundaries. Photo evidence provided shows the parcel displays characteristics that are not necessarily associated with open countryside and is regularly maintained. Designation as part of the SLA does not preclude its inclusion. It would allow for a small windfall opportunity in the future that is critical in sustaining the vitality of minor rural settlements.
