The proposed housing development will fundamentally damage the village character of our community. We lack the necessary infrastructure and facilities to support such expansion, and the increased population will place unsustainable pressure on local services—particularly the school, which is already stretched beyond capacity

The likely access road off main road, onto Hazlewood / Crompton way is totally inadequate and a safety issue already at present, and parking along main road and around the junction is already dangerous.
The increase in traffic would add further safety issues.
The affordable/ social housing in the area has a great negative impact and increasing that element would further harm the exclusivity of the area.

The proposed development of more housing in of Ogmore-by-sea would be detrimental to the area and the community. The roads are already in poor condition and Ogmore lacks the infrastructure to support more residents. It would also put pressure on the local school which is already at capacity. An increase in the local services needed to support this development would also surely lead to further increases in council tax.We don’t need more of our green spaces destroyed. Residents choose to live here because of its location & size. We don’t need to turn the village into a town with no supporting infrastructure.

The proposed housing development will fundamentally damage our village. We lack the necessary infrastructure and facilities to support the expansion. The roads are in a terrible state, the schools are full. There would be unsustainable pressure on already under-delivered local services by the council.
