this must not be allowed to go ahead for the following reasons:
- green belt between 2 settlements
- Llanmaes historic village needs to be protected from development, (already a conservation area)
- defamation of countryside
- greenfield site with brown field sites near by (llandow, raf st athan)
- part of this land is a flood plain
- increased traffic roads cant handle amount already
not enough services nearby to support more people (doctors, pharmacy, bus, rail)
- disruption to residents lifestyle, many people use the roads to ride horses including children riders, many cyclists use this route increased cars increased dangers
