I am in support of a Older Persons’ Housing Strategy - this should be essential part of any planning application and we should ensure that single level good access dwellings are included as part of the affordable home allocation in the larger developments. In particular where the housing is within good walking distance of local amenities such as the Church Farm development at St Athan. Providing suitable older person homes should free up the larger properties for families.
