A minor contribution may be had through the provision of high skilled manual employment that the development would facilitate.

I support adding non-operational minerals sites for sustainable waste management but believe Wenvoe Quarry should be designated for handling residues from recycled Construction and Demolition Waste or imported non-recyclable materials like clays. This would replace the closed Whitehall site in the Vale, which is no longer operational, and I note that no similar facilities remain in the Cardiff area, with the nearest, Hendy Quarry, approaching closure.
